WOW
I can't believe that this has really happened to me. I am truly honored to have been named Mrs. Maryland America 2005. What an amazing group of women were there showcasing all their accomplishments as a married woman of Maryland.

Background
I was born and raised in Easton, Maryland. I began dancing at the age of 6 and gymnastics at 11. At 13, the Talbot County Community Center opened its doors and my passion for Figure skating began. By the age of 15, I moved away from home to train in Wilmington, Delaware under Olympic coach, Ron Ludington. In 1985, I started competing at the Senior level in Ice Dancing. In 1986 and 1987, my partner and I competed at the U.S. Nationals and the Olympic Festival.
By 1990, I turned professional and enjoyed the spotlight working for Ice Capades in Japan. After my touring days were over, I coached for the next dozen years. I returned to my hometown of Easton in 2002. My husband, Richard and I, bought Mail Boxes Etc, where we have been running that ever since.
My Platform
I share a platform that affects all of us. Chronic disease strikes 125 million Americans and over half of ALL disease is triggered by nutrient deficiency.
Disease is not just the life threatening ones we think of like cancer, parkinsons, diabetes and heart disease. But also the life altering - such as arthritis, osteoporosis, asthma & the flu.
Because of what we consume and its lack of nutritional value, our bodies are malfunctioning. My mission is to voice what the modern health challenges are... why we are developing them and how, through prevention, you can “Take Back Your Health.” As Mrs. Maryland, I will make a difference in the world, one person at a time.
